The Miranda Foundation urgently needs to remove 33 horses from Pla de l'Orri at 1700 meters altitude.

Two horses play in the center, standing on their hind legs in a show of strength and socialization. In the background, other horses and goats graze in a privileged natural setting.
A volunteer from the Miranda Foundation works in environmental restoration. Equipped with pruning shears, she observes the terrain and vegetation near a natural fence.

After months of searching, we have finally found winter space for the horses that the Foundation recovers from abandonment and abuse. We now have a place to go! A forest property that no one wants to graze because it is not an easy or palatable pasture for a productive meat farm, but it is suitable for the health and well-being of our horses. In addition, the space, in the heart of Catalonia, has the strength of a property that wants to improve ecosystems and biodiversity, prevent fires, and that welcomes us with great enthusiasm!
