We share great news from Sunday.
A couple of weeks ago we retrobar el Rapun, an elderly horse that had "fallen away" from its group this winter.
After all this time searching for him in the forest without success, and four months missing, he has returned on his own to the winter pasture near the water point.
We have dedicated these days to giving him the necessary attention (well-being and veterinary assessment, food supplement of meadow grass hay, and a confined and easy space with lots of green grass).
Very attentive to accompany the final stages of each being's life.
It is clear that Rapún wants to end his days with his flock, and this intention has sustained him during these months in which we have been looking for him with the idea that he was dead.
For now and soon, we will accompany him to meet his family in the spring pasture of Nursery and Serruita.
Of course, it will be necessary to continue with special attention to pairing freedom i welfare.
