Schools visit the Miranda Foundation

The Horses Go to School

Activity that aims to spread knowledge and respect for horses People and the earth, paying attention and raising awareness of values, emotional education and reconnection with nature through horses.

We present the horses in his Natural enviroment to discover who they really are, how they organize their life in a herd, how they communicate with each other, how they interact with humans, understand their social relationships, friendship bonds, systemic order, their life stories.

The activity consists of a presentation of the Miranda Foundation and on a guided tour to find the horses in the pastures. There will be an explanation of the behavior and life of this mammal in its natural context. You will be able to meet and have contact with the free horses, a truly enriching and unique experience.

The students take a field trip to the area where horses graze. The aim is to observe and come into contact with the herds in freedom.

We work on presence, mindfulness, personal space, connection with yourself and with the group of children or young people and with the Horses.

Before going to meet the Horses, we play games of attention, awareness and respect for our own and others' personal space.

Guidelines for approaching Horses are given, an introduction to equine ethology and what is emerging among Horses is taken advantage of to relate it to what happens to us people on a systemic, emotional and relational scale.

The activity is guided by professionals from the Foundation.
