ENVIRONMENTAL VOLUNTEERING: WE WILL RESTORE THE CARREU RIVER “BEAVERING”

Would you like to get your hands dirty for a good cause and help local wildlife? Join the “beavering", where we will restore a stretch of stream in the Carreu Valley imitating the work done by beavers. We will create small ponds and aquatic environments that are key to biodiversity, using manual tools (saws, hoes and shovels).
Key facts of the day:
• Date: Thursday, July 30
• Opening Hours: 8am to 16pm
• Point meeting: La Pobla de Segur in front of the Hotel Solé (from there we will travel with the guide's 4×4 to the area)
What should you bring?
• Water shoes or wellies (essential, we will be working in the stream).
• Work gloves.
• Your lunch and water to get you through the day.
