We just arrived with the transhumance horses this weekend to the Ansovell pastures on the north side of Cadí. Now we have to work to prepare the next enclosure and we need support.

We propose a different weekend where you can enjoy these mountains and impressive landscapes while we share a day of perimeter fencing on the same side of the town of Ansovell and come to see and share with the Moreu herd and mares.

A good opportunity to get to know this space and come see the horses.

There will be two days, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th. You can sign up for one or both.
These days will be accompanied by Enric and Caterina, volunteers from the Miranda Foundation team.

The tasks to be performed consist of placing rods for the perimeter fence, placing insulators on the rods and trees, and laying wire. It is not an excessively hard job, so it can also be shared with the family.

Normally, we work a few hours in the morning until lunchtime and then we choose whether to continue for a while or stop and share with the horses. Lunch must be brought on a picnic, as there is no place to eat there. We suggest looking for accommodation in La Seu d'Urgell to make the most of the trip and make it less tiring.

The delimitation of pastures is necessary and, for this reason, we invite you to be part of this very important event for us: opening new horizons and new opportunities at a time when the Miranda family is growing up.

These types of actions that we carry out at the Miranda Foundation promote the good state of conservation of pastures and the maintenance of open spaces in an eminently forested area and allow environmental benefits, such as the preservation of plant species linked to this habitat and the prevention of fires.

Must bring:
Suitable mountain footwear, warm clothing, water, picnic food. If possible, bring gardening gloves.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, you only have to do two things:
