April 30, 2023,10, 00:XNUMX - 14:00
| 20,00 € - € 40,00Walking with free horses. Short transhumance!
Do you need Nature and Movement? Accompany the Movement of a herd of Horses on the loose! You can live the experience of Transhumance within the Garraf Park territory accompanying a herd of horses in freedom!
You will walk among free horses for about 3 hours., from Parc del Garraf to the pasture provided by the producers of eco and unique wine in the region. An experience that connects Horses, People and Nature. Short transhumance and coexistence of union with a small herd of Horses recovered by the Miranda Foundation. We will link with the group of people who support us in this meaningful action.
The Movement is carried out for the welfare of the Horses, and to guarantee their self-sufficiency and nutrition. We leave one place to spend a few months in another and thus guarantee the regeneration and health of the pasture and biodiversity (environment), and that of the equines.
Generally, the route does not have significant elevation changes. It is an activity where you walk at a fairly brisk pace for approximately 7-8 km. Once you start, you cannot stop. It's a march more than a walk.
Who is it for?
To anyone who wants to contact the horses through respect, listening, and approaching their natural environmentAdults and children over 8 years old.
The activity may be canceled if the weather is not suitable or if there are not enough people registered.
Meeting point:
We will meet at a small esplanade at the foot of the BV_2111 road, where we can leave our vehicles and where they will pick us up to go to the starting point of the journey. Google link
