About the organizers:

La Pau Costa Foundation is a global non-profit organization that focuses on the prevention and management of forest fires from the perspective of fire ecology. Since 2011, it has been working to facilitate the meeting between researchers, emergency services, public administration, private companies and civil society, with the vocation of disseminating knowledge of fire culture and carrying out tangible joint projects around the world. Given the current context of climate emergency, only with forest management and accepting that we must live with fires as an intrinsic fact of our landscape, will we achieve an adapted society, capable of managing the risk of fires from a prevention perspective.

Ramats de Foc is a project that helps manage the risk of forest fires through grazing. The contribution of herds to fire risk management is promoted, through grazing in forest areas.

The Ramats de Foc seal promotes the continuity of livestock activity in the territory and helps prevent large fires.

La Miranda Foundation is a nature conservation organization that was founded in 2008 and is a pioneer in the reintroduction of rescued and recovered horses from abuse and abandonment into the natural environment, thus enhancing their ecological function for biodiversity and fire prevention. It is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge, understanding and respect for Horses, People and Nature.
