Meet the free Pottokes!

The activity consists of a presentation of the Miranda Foundation and a guided walk to find the herd of free-ranging pottokes ponies in the forest pastures. There will be an explanation of the behavior and life of this mammal in its natural context and how it has adapted to the natural environment of Garraf.

A morning in the middle of Nature to learn about the importance of the presence of Free Horses in Garraf Park for Biodiversity and fire prevention.

Generally, the walk does not exceed 4km and the elevation changes are quite accessible for families.

Meeting point:
Google Maps link: Olivella Main Square. Garraf Park

Once you have registered, the guide will create a WhatsApp group for the activity to finalize details.
The activity may be cancelled if the weather is not suitable or if there are not enough people registered.

What we recommend to bringing:
Drink, small breakfast, comfortable and warm clothes depending on the weather, shoes to move freely and walk on the mountain.

This is a SOLIDARITY ACTIVITY:
The amount of registrations for the activities helps us to sustain the welfare and feeding of the Horses. By choosing one of our activities you are contributing to making the work of the Miranda Foundation possible.

Thank you so much,
Miranda Team
