Torb is the first son of Estrella, a mare we rescued many years ago because she had a broken hip and was going to be euthanized. Estrella recovered and even though the vets told us she would not be able to have children with her broken hip, she became the mother of this beautiful and lively black foal who was born free and strong in June 2015.
Torb is a very calm foal that, once he has overcome the slight fear of humans, allows himself to be petted and is very receptive.
We operated the Torb a few months ago so that there are no imbalances between the herds.
We will see if he ends up emancipating himself and integrating into the herd of single males or continues living with his mother and linked to his large herd.
