Moscatel and Xarel·lo have filled the Mediterranean steppe of Garraf with joy and a sense of adventure.
When they arrived from a D'ADE rescue, they were reluctant to leave their reception enclosure, designed for them to spend only the first few days there. But no, we released them and they re-entered their comfort zone.
After a summer of training to make decisions and regain initiative, they have learned to enjoy the immensity of nature to the fullest. They are 2 ambassadors, impertinent and beautiful, curious and provocative. They do not hesitate to approach people, and to bring them closer to the Project.
Last winter they discovered the nooks and crannies of the pasture in Coll de Nargó, where they made new friends and expanded their daily route.
They currently live at the Foundation Headquarters in Pla de l'Orri (Serra de Catllaràs) where they enjoy the high mountains and a new and close friendship with another donkey, Donzell. From their well-being we have discovered two truly affectionate and loving beings. They have space and occupy it but often stop their grazing for a moment of connection and quality with people with a deeply kind sweetness.
