LLÍVIA's story is very systemic. She arrived at the Foundation with her father. Both horses for meat… Saved from the slaughterhouse! LLi, at six months old, already showed a very brave and fearless character, with an unusual determination.
His father, Gran SAÜC, was the first horse to have a vasectomy in Catalonia, and this pioneering idea of ours opened up an option that allows horses to live in family groups, without procreating, but without having to castrate to avoid procreation (which involves a much more invasive intervention) and preserving their natural behavior and the systemic order of the herds.
LLÍVIA is very independent. She often changes groups or goes on her own, but she always goes with her daughter PLUJA, who is completely protected and has her resources assured with her! Strong, intelligent and very much a champion!
